He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
- Isaiah 40:29-31

You Better Not Pout!

Yeah well someone better tell Joshua that. He doesn't believe me when I tell him Santa doesn't visit grumpy boys. And can I tell you that he is VERY grumpy. Yesterday, he stayed upstairs four about two hours and refused to come down. He undressed himself because he didn't want to wear clothes. Forget the fact that it was about 20 degrees here yesterday. Oh and the kid has no hair to insulate him. Other than that, he is is usual demanding self. So far we have remained fever free. He's not enjoying the nightly shots in the legs that Jeff and I have to give him but he always bounces back with a hug and a kiss. Oh, and don't forget that all important band aid!

As for the other two boys, they are enjoying the holiday season. All three boys have helped put up the tree, wrap presents, string lights, and bake cookies. It truly is a fun age for Christmas this year. Adam wants everything under the sun for Christmas except the "girl stuff." Noah loves to sing Christmas carols although he only knows Jingle Bells and only some of the words. We have our usual Czorapinski nightly dance parties where Joshua "shakes his booty." That is when he's not being a grump.

Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season as much as we are enjoying it!

Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you as you're rushing Josh into Hopkins. I pray he gets his fever down quickly and you can come home soon.

Lots of hugs,
Rita

Awwww, such a priceless picture! I loved it! It's funny how he's developed this stubborn little personality, but he deserves it. Him without his hair - wow - it only shows how much more handsome he really is! I'm glad that the boys are having fun getting ready for Christmas. We have been too. Guess what? We actually got our tree up and finished, and 2 hours later it broke at the base, and fell over crashing bulbs everywhere! I laughed and laughed. We had to go and buy another tree and re-put it up, so I guess we got to spend way more quality time together putting up the tree twice! But, everyone said, how did you do it without being soooooooo mad? And, I said, considering the blessings I have with a healthy child, putting up 2 trees in 1 day is nothing. I'm sure you'd give all you had to have that be the biggest problem or worry of your day wouldn't you?? Because of what you and Jeff and your family have gone through, along with your other "cancer parents" friends, I appreciate so much more my life and how blessed I am to be the one that is sick and not Tylar. That is thanks to you Ami, which I know is why you post on your website. I've actually taken time to think now when someone just starts screaming at me for no reason if they're upset about something at work, before I react, what exactly could be happening in their life that could cause them to need to vent? I no longer lose my temper over something so stupid. And, the other problem I want to know if you've solved, has Jeff been doing these "nightly" bootie shakings and does he have any rhythm? I'm laughing picturing that one! :)
