He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Dirty Feet

I'm not one of those Mom's. I don't have it all together and my kids aren't perfect. I know. It's a surprise to me too but it's true. I dream of having the kids that wear designer clothes. Hell, I dream of wearing designer clothes. I would have a spotless house and the boys would not need to be reminded to say things like, "thank you, please and yes mother." I would have a PDA and actually know how to use it. I can just imagine it all.

This is not the case. MY kids wear JCPenney clothing and whatever I can find on the clearance rack. I wear the same clothes I wore four years ago only they are a lot tighter. The house is far from spotless. Every room has toys all over the floor and just yesterday my mother-in-law found a french fry on the carpet in the family room. I don't remember when the boys last had french fries. As far as a PDA I barely know how to use my cell phone and don't even think about asking me to text you.

It's our life. I laugh every time I watch Jon and Kate and they say "it might be a crazy life, but it's our life." I think "yeah, and mine too." Our life is one big crazy mess. We try our best to be organized, have family dinners, get to bed on time and keep it together but we just aren't that family. We're the Czorapinski's. The family with three rambunctious boys and the house where you can get away with a lot because Mom and Dad are too overwhelmed with getting through the day to care if you take your fruit loops into the den. When Mom finds the bowl you hid under the hope chest three weeks later, she might care but by then it's too late. That's us. And to be completely honest, I wouldn't change it. Even if I had the designer clothes and the PDA, they would have snot or ice cream on them and juice spilled all over. No, I'm the Kool Aid mom. The kids come in at the end of the day with dirty clothes and feet and a smile on their face. And as I tuck them in and tell them I love them to the moon and back, so do I.

Exactly what you said!

For those moms who are too worked up worrying about the house and all the frills, they won't ever know the joy that comes when you just let go of all that you can't handle and live for the moment. Messy, disorganized, surprising moments..but great moments, nonetheless.

Love,
Anissa

OK, here's a message from Tylar first:
hey Josh how are doing? i'm doing fine and i hope you're feeling good and i hope you are not sore from the shots. i'll keep you in my prayers. i love you. bye, tylar, your cousin

OK, now my message:
Tylar came in while I was on the blog, and of course, had to type himself a little note. And, I'm glad that he did. It's nice to get him involved and explain to him how fortunate he is to have his health and to realize the reality of life with other kids sometimes. Not to be taken for granted. No, it's still not ever going to convince him to eat broccoli! Ha!ha! But, that's ok too. Wow, the boys just grow up quick don't they? I pray every night for Joshua to get the strength he needs to get this journey once again on the other side of him. And for you guys too to have the strength to do what you have to do to help him. I am always thinking of him when something good happens to make me smile with my own son. And, you're right, reading the blog makes you smile & cry. It's the little things sometimes that makes you do that, even after a bad day, the kids do something funny or crazy and it takes that frustration right away. Tylar is 10yrs old now this week, and already, on the way to school and work this morning, while carpooling together, Craig, me and Tylar -- we had the debate of politics. (Note to everyone-mornings are not the time to argue in the vehicle with me, but it just happens doesn't it?) So, Tylar breaks the ice by letting us know that he thinks he's voting for Obama! His reason when asked why, was "Because I was going to vote for Hilary Clinton, but Obama beat her cause he's better". (Thank God we weren't the ones crossing the bay bridge, or stuck sitting on it, because I do believe that Craig would've thrown my child over it!) Ha!ha! So, we will have to start whispering in his ears all night long "McCain - McCain & Palen-McCain & Palen".etc.
ha!ha! Brainwashing 101 starts at 9:00pm sharp!!!!! Anyway, I wanted to give you a laugh, and I hope that I did. Just the way you give to us through your blogging! Oh yeah, Jeffrey, way to go watching the boy while on hospital duty, OMG, he's partying around the floors with the girls while you have no clue what's going on. Looks like a peek into the future when he's 17 and sneaking around Kent Island partying with pretty girls while you once again, have no clue while you are probably dreaming of the latest games and technology that comes out. You'll always be the cutest and my favoritist nerd. ha!ha!ha! I love you guys!
